Well they would reach over and try to get the piece of information that states they are deaf, or perhaps reach for a hearing aid or something like that. You can see why the officer would be suspicious if the person is still bending down to look for something ig they are deaf they just cannot hear the officers shouts. If the deaf person is still bending over in the opposite direction you can imagine the result of this incident.

To be fair I do see it from the police officers point of view, they have no idea what the person is reaching for, they could in fact not be going after their hearing aid but a gun or a knife and sometimes it just isnt worth risking to wait and see. Police officers simply need a small bit of training when it comes to a situation like this, it would easily sort things out.

If you think that your hearing is starting to suffer from hearing loss why not go and get yourself checked out. You could look into getting hearing protection for musicians to be on the safe side. Go and get yourself a hearing aid assessment.
