    when the americans do it right they do it freakin right! it’s great to see some english actors given their dues too. mcnulty is good stuff!
    combining humour and the some of the most horrific things is always gonna be a win win show when done right.
    i’m not slamming the US but as a country so well known for biggin oneself up. brits are the very oppostite. we take the out of ourselves first.
    i just think it’s an excellent show. we’re all human. we have faults we aren’t better or worse.

    A few things. For one, the scene is entirely visual storytelling. We already know how the murder happened (there was a scene earlier in the episode where the murderer was describing it to his friends), but we get to watch them slowly find the evidence they came for without relying on the standard method of crime procedurals of cops explaining everything. “So what happened here?” Is just a lazy excuse for forced exposition, and this scene shows that you don’t have to beat us over the head.
